How long the main content takes to appear. Good is 2.5 seconds or less.

Where do these results come from?
The test runs Google PageSpeed Insights, the same Lighthouse engine Google uses, and shows real-user Chrome data for your site when Google has enough of it.
Why is my mobile score lower than desktop?
Mobile tests simulate a mid-range phone on a slower network, so heavy images, scripts and fonts cost much more. Google indexes the mobile version of your site, which makes the mobile result the more important one.
Why does the score change between tests?
Lab scores vary slightly with server response times, third-party scripts and network conditions. Look at trends and the Core Web Vitals from real users rather than a single run.
Is the test free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, and we do not store the addresses you test beyond a short cache that keeps repeated tests fast.
