Technical SEO

Make every important page easy to crawl, index and understand.

Technical SEO removes the obstacles between your content and search engines. We find them with data, fix them properly, and document every change.

What's included

The technical layer, covered end to end.

Crawlability & indexation

Robots directives, XML sitemaps, canonical tags and index coverage reviewed against what Google actually reports in Search Console.

Site architecture

URL structure, internal linking and click depth organised so important pages get discovered and understood.

Structured data

Schema.org markup for your organisation, services, products, articles and FAQs — validated and error-free.

Redirects & migrations

Redirect chains, loops and broken links cleaned up, and full redirect maps planned for domain or platform moves.

Duplicate & thin pages

Parameter URLs, pagination and near-duplicates consolidated so ranking signals are not split.

International & mobile

hreflang setup for multilingual sites and mobile-first rendering checks, including JavaScript content.

Signs you need it

When great content still doesn't rank.

Technical problems rarely announce themselves. They show up as pages that never get indexed, traffic that drops after a redesign, or rankings that stall no matter what you publish.

  • Search Console shows pages "Crawled – currently not indexed" or "Discovered – currently not indexed".
  • Organic traffic dropped after a redesign, migration or platform change.
  • Several URLs compete for the same search terms.
  • Rich results (FAQ, product, reviews) do not appear for your pages.
  • Pages are slow or fail Core Web Vitals on mobile.
  • Your site relies on JavaScript to render key content.

FAQ

Technical SEO questions

How is technical SEO different from regular SEO?

Technical SEO deals with how search engines access, render and interpret your website: crawling, indexation, site structure, speed and structured data. It is the foundation that content and on-page work depend on.

How long until technical fixes show results?

Search engines need to recrawl the affected pages before changes are reflected. Indexation fixes are often visible in Search Console within a few weeks, while ranking effects vary by site size and competition.

Do you need access to our website?

For implementation, yes: typically your CMS or code repository, plus read access to Google Search Console. For an audit-only engagement, Search Console access is usually enough.
